About Rozerem

What is the most important information I should like to know Rozerem?
Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to ramelteon, or serious liver disease.

You should not take Rozerem if you're also taking antidepressant fluvoxamine (Luvox).

Before taking Rozerem, tell your doctor if you have liver disease, sleep apnea, a breathing disorder such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or a history of depression, mental illness or suicidal thoughts.

Rozerem take 30 minutes before going to sleep your normal. When you take this medicine, doing nothing other than get ready for bed.

Avoid taking Rozerem with or right after eating a fatty meal. This will make it harder for the body to absorb the drug.
What should I discuss with my doctor before taking Rozerem?
Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to ramelteon, or serious liver disease.

You should not take Rozerem if you're also taking antidepressant fluvoxamine (Luvox).

Before taking Rozerem, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any medication, or if you have:

* Liver disease;
*

Sleep Apnea (breathing stops while sleeping);
*

a respiratory disease such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or
*

a history of depression, mental illness or suicidal thoughts.

If you have any of these conditions, you may not be able to use Rozerem, or you may need a dose adjustment or special tests during treatment.
FDA pregnancy category C. This medication may be harmful to an unborn child. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant during treatment. It is not known whether this drug passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are feeding a baby.

Rozerem may affect the level of male or female hormones (testosterone or prolactin). This may affect periods menstrual protection method in women, in men, sexual desire or fertility (ability to have children) in a man or a woman.
